As Chile continues to suffer from the 8.8 magnitude earthquake and the many devastating aftershocks, the California Western School of Law community came together to raise money for Chilean releif efforts.

For more than ten years, California Western has worked in Chile and currently runs a summer study program in Santiago, the country's capital.

Thanks for joining us for a very special event to honor our Chilean friends and colleagues and support the reconstruction work necessary in the aftermath of this tragedy.

On March 31, 2010 ACCESO Collection 2010 was unveiled at the Relief for Chile event at Puerto La Boca in the Little Italy section of San Diego, California.

Law students from CWSL, Thomas Jefferson and as from as far as Tijuana, Mexico came to contribute to the American Red Cross and other Chilean charities to support relief efforts in the aftermath of the 8.8 magnitude earthquake in February 2010.
DJ Beatnick took to the turntables as La Flama de La Justicia Lilia Velasquez and ACCESO Director James Cooper hosted a number of judges and lawyers from around the region.

CWSL faculty like Mark Weinstein, Roberta Thyfault and Tim Casey, all veterans of South American rule of law educational efforts were spotted along with Ruth Briscoe of the Internship Office and Angela Kim of Career Services.

A retrospective of the ACCESO Collection, designed by Tijuana-based architect Marcela Guardiana,  was on display with a fashion show.  From t-shirt sales and the ticket sales, some $2200 was raised in total!
A big shout out to Theresa Calimag and Angela Santamaria of CSP 09 for co-chairing.

CSP and FTA veteran Andrew Turco co-hosted the fashion show with Shaun Spaulding.

Thanks also to ACCESO-ites Rebecca Tweneboah and Stephanie Assous for coordinating the ACCESO Collection.

A special thanks for Marcela for continuing to design the best rule of law wear on the planet.
