"From San Diego to Santiago: The California Innocence Project goes to South America"

Professor Justin Brooks from California Western School of Law and executive director of the California Innocence Project visited Chile earlier this month.

He spoke on prison reform at the post-graduate program - Judicial Reform and the Rule of Law - at the University of Chile's Law School and went on a tour of prisons around the country with GTZ lawyer and ACCESO Team member Jorg Stippel.

Professor Brooks also presented at the Catholic University of Temuco on the use of DNA in criminal procedures for ACCESO Tec and took some time out to hit the ski hills around Santiago.
