ACCESO Public Service Announcement - “DD.II. – Derechos Intelectuales” - goes into rotation on Galavision TV

ACCESO’s public education programs continue their roll out across the Western Hemisphere.

The newly edited 60 second Public Service Announcement (“Piratear es un delito – Piracy is a Crime”) is going into regular rotation on Galavision TV, broadcast for Mexican and Latin American audiences.

“Intellectual Property piracy continues to plague North, Central and South America,” explains Professor James Cooper, Director of Proyecto ACCESO, “It is important that we educate the general public what damage Intellectual Property piracy does to legitimate businesses, to local culture and artists, and to research and development efforts.”

The Public Service Announcement was created for ACCESO by Ricardo Amunategui and his team of animators in Santiago de Chile, including Cuban artist Alejandro Gonzalez, and was funded with a grant from the U.S. Embassy in Santiago.
