ACCESO Kids Releases New Finger Puppet Series to Promote the Rule of Law

Just in time for the launch of ACCESO Kids Music (ACCESO Sessions Volume 4) with DJ Fat Pablo, comes the NEW ACCESO Kids finger puppets!

Made by hand from Bolivian wool, these little toys remind us of all the ACCESO Trainers - El Pistolero, El Lente de la Justicia, and even Rockstar Inc. are featured! Based on the real life legal superheroes who are bringing justice to the Americas, these finger puppets will delight even the grumpiest of judges.

Yerko Ilijic, an ACCESO trainer and Bolivian lawyer who works for GTZ at the Ministry of Justice in Santiago, met with Aymara artesans outside of La Paz to organize the production of the finger puppets. "The quality of the knit work from Bolivia is second to none," explained El Ultimo with a smile, "Bolivia may not have access to the sea, but we have access to great artesans."

Yerko and his wife Maria Cristina had a baby girl in December 2003 - little Irina. The finger puppets are still too small for the little baby’s hands, but sister Lulu will be ready to show her sister "El Rebelde", "Globo Guy" and the puppet of their father "El Ultimo"

The children of Claudio Pavlic of ACCESO Chile and Gabriela Novoa gave the puppets "two thumbs up" when they were unveiled in Temuco in March 2004. Actually, the puppets got about four fingers and two thumbs up.

Even Rodrigo Lillo, Carmen Gloria and Jose Martinez took to the mini-ACCESO people made of wool. "Hey this looks like me," exclaimed El Llanero, smiling widely.
