ACCESO is an acronym for "Abogados Creativos Colaborando para Encontrar Soluciones Optimas" ("Creative Lawyers Collaborating to Find Optimal Solutions").

Proyecto ACCESO is the Pan-American rule of law training and public education program headquartered at California Western School of Law in San Diego. Founded in 1998, Proyecto ACCESO has trained over 2,500 judges, prosecutors, public defenders, justice ministry offcials, law enforcement agents, and community leaders from fifteen countries in Central and South America.

Proyecto ACCESO develops curricula, facilitates workshops, and trains legal professionals around the Americas. Working local agencies, we empower judicial innovators with a vast array of skills to promote sustainable reforms in their respective countries. Proyecto ACCESO also creates, produces and distributes public education campaigns, popular music, documentary films, children's education programs, animation series, and reality TV shows to increase confidence in the administration of justice. We even have our own fashion collection!

Proyecto ACCESO has been funded by and partnered with such diverse stakeholders as the Avery-Tsui Foundation, William and Flora Hewlett Foundation, the Organization of American States, United Nations Development Programme, United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime, the Inter-American Development Bank, the German Government Technical Cooperation Agency (GTZ), Konrad Adenauer Foundation, the United States Department of State, and various Latin American justice ministries, universities, and national bar associations.
