Jorg Stippel is a German lawyer. He was responsible for a German government Rule of Law project in Chile. Partnering with the Chilean Ministry of Justice, the new institutions created by a new criminal procedure code, international aid agencies, and educational institutions like Proyecto ACCESO, Joerg designs and produces projects throughout the Americas that consolidate democratic governance and strengthen the Rule of Law.
He holds a law degree from the University of Munster, and has taught law courses in Bolivia where he was a human rights lawyer. He has coordinated legislation that has freed more than 1,000 prisoners and reduced the sentences of 1,000 more.
He has published two books in Bolivia, one regarding the prison system and another regarding criminal procedure.
